Aldergrove Veterans & Seniors society is hosting its annual holiday bake sale on Saturday, Dec. 7.
Treats will include a range of baked goods from cookies, muffins, pies, cakes, candies, and more, said president Rea Coates.
Everything will be homemade by society members, but the public is also invited to donate their own homemade goodies.
"We just ask people put a price on them, or if they want we will price them," Coates said.
People interested in donating baked goods for the sale are asked to call 604-856-3271 to arrange drop off times.
Poinsettia arrangements will be for sale to add to the Christmas spirit, she added.
This is the third twice-annual bake sale Coates has participated in, the second held in the spring, she said.
All funds raised will support the society, which is a non-profit for veterans and seniors of Aldergrove and surrounding neighbourhoods that offers healthy meals four days a week, cooked fresh by volunteers.
Games of bingo, cards, or dominoes are often held as well.
Santa will visit on Dec. 7 to take photos with visitors, and Coates said the ongoing garage sale will feature Christmas decorations and items too.
The bake sale will run from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The society is located at 27247 Fraser Hwy., and is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
