Kensington Prairie Farm is asking locals to be respectful of the property and its new residents, after some unwelcomed visits within days of the camels arriving. 

Unfortunately since Aug. 19, when the camels first arrived to Kensington farm, there have been rowdy visitors. 

In a post on Instagram, Milton said a visitor had confronted staff at the farm in an "aggressive" manner. 

"Yelling and spitting at me and my staff, warning us of the so-called dangers of these animals while hurling insults and accusations," reads the post. 

"This aggressive encounter was both shocking and distressing, especially as we were simply trying to settle our new arrivals into their new home." 

The second and third unwelcomed visitors trespassed onto the farm's property after dark. 

"It's critical to stress that entering a farm uninvited, especially outside posted hours [at the gate], is never acceptable. Such actions not only show a lack of respect for farmers, but also pose serious safety risks for both animals and intruders," Milton wrote. 

In the post, Milton encouraged positive relationships between farmers and residents. 

"It's crucial that we, as members of the agricultural community, support one another. Building strong bonds and lifting each other up helps us all navigate the challenges of farming, ensuring that we can all thrive in our shared passion for caring for the land and our animals."
