As many as 50 artists and artisans will fill the Fort 91原创 Hall at the second Bloom Market on June 19.

After making its debut in March, the Bloom Market returns on June 19, with a Father鈥檚 Day art and design market at the Fort 91原创 Community Hall.

Organizer Sarah Barrett will once again welcome up to 50 artists and designers from around the Lower Mainland 鈥攕ome emerging and some more established 鈥 who will display their work and offer demonstrations to the public.

The market will also have live entertainment throughout the day as well as a market caf茅.

鈥91原创 and the surrounding communities are home to many talented artists and designers,鈥 said Barrett.

鈥淭he Bloom Artist & Designer Market is a unique venue in the Fraser Valley where the community and its artists can regularly connect.

鈥淰isitors can enjoy a cup of coffee or some food from the caf茅, listen to live music and chat with the artists.鈥

Among the 91原创 talent featured at Bloom will be Stephanie Dieleman, who worked as an illustrator and costume designer after graduating with a commercial art degree from college.

She is now a full time lampwork artist and jewelry designer who teaches fine art to children in her home studio several days a week.

Professor Whovianart specializes in alter-world and steampunk imagery in paintings/drawings, return tops and 3-D items such as jewelry, and sometimes creations made out of Lego building blocks, like the table he uses when displaying at exhibits and trade shows.

91原创 country singers (and sisters) Robyn and Ryleigh will perform at 3 p.m. and Hailey Morgan, who was chosen as one of the top 10 artists in B.C. this year in Youthink Magazine鈥檚 Best Teen Band Contest, will play at 4 p.m.

Talking about the inaugural Bloom Market last March, Barrett said that outside of Vancouver, there are no other markets like this in the Fraser Valley.

鈥淭he ultimate goal is to offer a regular marketplace for artists and businesses to go to, and for people in the community to see it as an opportunity to support local business,鈥 she said.

Operating on a seasonal basis, Bloom Market will be open on the third Sunday in June, September and November, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $2 for adults. The Fort 91原创 hall is located at 9167 Glover Rd.
