Back in August, the Fort 91原创 Jazz and Arts Festival organizers announced plans for a Christmas big band concert and dance.
But executive director Karen Zukas confirmed last week that the event isn鈥檛 happening 鈥 at least not during the holiday season.
鈥淯nfortunately, we have had to postpone the big band swing Christmas concert and dance because provincial health orders do not allow for dancing,鈥 she said.
鈥淲e will be rescheduling to the spring when we hope that these restrictions will be lifted.鈥
Stay tuned for update or visit .
Reflecting back on the year, founder Dave Quinn said the year has come with its own 鈥渦nique set of challenges.鈥
But once again, he pointed out, the festival team and all its supporters persevered, overcame, and thrived.
鈥淲e are in full planning mode for the 2022 festival, July 21 to 24, and look forward to connecting with you in the new year to share our plans.鈥
