Robin McIntosh, Aldergrove Fair president, called this year鈥檚 event an incredible success.
鈥淲e had great weather, great music, food and beverages, and great people coming in from all over the lower mainland,鈥 McIntosh told the 91原创 Advance Times.
Attendance over the July 14-16 event was about 11,000, roughly the same as previous years, but organizers noticed a slight increase on Friday and Sunday compared to previous years.
This year鈥檚 theme was 鈥溾
McIntosh said concerns about a possible shortage of volunteers to help run the event were addressed by 鈥渁n influx at the very end鈥 that made sure there were enough people.
鈥淚 think the organization was very smooth,鈥 McIntosh remarked.
鈥淥ur team was very well-prepared.鈥

Soaring temperatures were addressed by a shade tent that kept a 鈥渉uge portion of the fairgrounds nice and cool,鈥 McIntosh said.
As well, the Township of 91原创 provided a misting station 鈥渨here children from all ages gathered throughout the day.鈥
鈥淭his was our 111th year and we received many compliments on the layout of the fair, so that people felt there was so much to see but they still didn鈥檛 feel too crowded,鈥 McIntosh summarized.
