Organizers are keeping their fingers crossed that the rain stays away this Saturday, April 21, so a pancake picnic party can take place to celebrate the grand re-opening of Hunter Park.

The public is invited to bring a blanket or lawn chair, enjoy the music of Jessica Barbour and join 91原创 City council from 10 a.m. to noon. at the City park.

The 91原创 Youth Committee will provide the pancake breakfast by donation, starting at 10 a.m. The official ceremony to open the refurbished park is at 11 a.m.

There will also be tree and shrub planting.

The youth committee will sell boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts for $10 each in support of Youth Week.

Hunter Park is located at 19959 45B Ave. Additional parking is available at Penzer Park.

Last November, the City had to remove numerous large trees that had laminated root rot.

Since then the City has worked to refresh the park.
