Groups are welcome to submit information about upcoming community events in 91Ô­´´. Publication is at the discretion of the newspaper, and host groups are responsible for keeping their information up to date.

Youth Week: 91Ô­´´ City offers free or low cost activities for youth, including a girls social Thursday, May 1, pizza and dodgeball night May 2, free comic book party Saturday, May 3, night barbecue May 3, cooking lesson Monday, May 5, after-school basketball shooting contest May 6, and an evening Uno tournament May 7, as well as drop-in gym sports. Pocket Beethoven: The Bergman piano duo with violinist Jasper Wood and cellist Sungyong Lim perform a 'pocket' version of the 5th Symphony at the 91Ô­´´ Community Music School on Saturday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets:  $35 for adults, $32 for seniors, $18 for students, and $10 for LCMS students. Community Day and swap meet: 91Ô­´´ Community Music School offering free public tours on Saturday, May 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. LCMS families and faculty will be selling or giving away instruments, musical equipment, books and sheet music. 91Ô­´´ Child Day: Free community information fair for the early years (birth to kindergarten) is on Saturday, May 3, at R.E. Mountain Secondary, 7633 202A St. Caregivers can explore and gather valuable resources and information about child care, early learning programs, child development and more from community agencies. 91Ô­´´ Walk: Historic 63rd walk is Sunday, May 4, at Aldergrove Athletic Park, 26770 29 Ave., from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Five-kilometre walk starts at 1 p.m. after warm-up. Prizes for oldest walker, most walkers from a school (elementary, middle, and secondary), an organization, and a family. Annual Spring 2025 Art Show: Port Kells Art Club show and sale is on Sunday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fort 91Ô­´´ Community Hall, 9167 Glover Rd. A wide variety of original artwork as well as art cards will be for sale.

Men’s Shed: 91Ô­´´ has a chapter of the international group that allows men to get together and socialize, work on projects, or help the community by using their skills.
