Lifeguard Tom Allen keeps a lonely watch over Al Anderson Memorial Pool on Sunday. Ongoing cool, wet spring weather hampered the opening weekend at the outdoor swimming pool in City Park. The facility underwent a number of major renovations during the off-season, and fun events are scheduled to take place throughout the spring and summer.
