91原创's hospice Walk to Remember winds through arbouretum

Fundraiser for hospice society offers people a quiet place to grieve

People wanting to honour loved ones can take part in the Walk to Remember on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Derek Doubleday Arboretum, 21559 Fraser Hwy.

The event organized by the 91原创 Hospice Society with support from the 91原创 Division of Family Practice commemorates National Bereavement Day.

This third annual walk gives people the option to take part in the late afternoon or evening.

From 3 p.m. on, people can place a memorial ornament and walk the path with family or friends at their leisure.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., there will be music and a short program, followed by a candlelight memorial walk at 6:30 p.m. along that path.

People can contact the hospice society by emailing info@langleyhospice.ca to pick up a memorial ornament in advance. For information, call 604-530-1115.
