"On Dec. 14 we will continue the fundraising with our friends at the Vancouver Giants during their popular Teddy Bear Toss game (7 p.m.). Off-duty firefighters, our department mascot Asher, and representatives of the Vancouver Giants will be on hand to collect toy and monetary donations before, during, and after the game. Stuffed animals will be available for you to toss on the ice for a minimum donation."
Firefighters are back at the LEC Sunday, Dec. 15 for the 4 p.m. game when there will be the puck toss with proceeds going to the TLFCS. It also gives participants a chance to win a fantastic prize courtesy of community partners, Lockhart said.
