The 91原创 Garden Club held its annual Spring Show and Sale Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sharon United Church in Murrayville.
The club, founded in 1941, holds the annual plant sale and show to help pay for its club speakers and other expenses. Its members donate plants that are sold off during the event.
They also give non-profits the chance to raise money, including the Surrey Community Cat Coalition. The Cat Coalition raises money for trap-neuter-release programs and helps collect for the pet food bank.
The event included a judged flower show in the basement of the church and vendors in the parking lot. There was also a bake sale and plant draws.
