Groups are welcome to submit information about upcoming community events in 91原创. Publication is at the discretion of the newspaper, and host groups are responsible for keeping their information up to date.

Community Harvest: 91原创 Environmental Partners Society (LEPS) would like to hear from people with fruits and vegetables to donate to the gleaning program. People with too much produce get it harvested by volunteers. One third goes to the owner, one third to the volunteer and one third to people in need. Reduces food waste. Scarecrow Festival: Between Saturday, Sept. 21 and Halloween, people can enjoy the festival and pop-up pumpkin patch at Art's Nursery, 8940 192 St. Unique scarecrows on display, including the upcycle challenge scarecrows, along with lots of photo opps in the patch, and on weekends food trucks and live music. Boot Sale and Repair Cafe: St. Andrew's Anglican Church, 20955 Old Yale Rd., has a sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 with vendors, small businesses, crafters, and garage sale sellers, as well as a concession and repair cafe. James Douglas 鈥 A Multicultural Legacy: Fort 91原创 National Historic Site has a special event Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in partnership with the Guyanese Association. Learn about B.C.'s first governor, and enjoy special speakers, Caribbean Indigenous fusion foods, and cultural activities.

World Rivers Day: Free festival is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, at Williams Park, 23702 68 Ave. Organized by the 91原创 Environmental Partners Society with community partners. Event includes interactive activities and information about water resources.

Community Mobile Outreach: New Directions English Language School hosting interagency public event noon to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 20436 Fraser Hwy.
