Christmas lights going up around 91Ô­´´

• Wejr Winter Wonderland: 26936 28A Ave. has thousands of lights. Open 5 to 11 p.m. until Dec. 31, 5-11pm each night. Be sure to give the tall Santa a wave. Also check out the neighbouring a couple houses up on the corner of 269 and 28A .

• Beneath the Wreath: 26965 26th Ave.

• Holiday Lights: 5250 272nd St. is back this year with a huge display. Pacific Bolt decorates its grounds and is collecting donations for 91Ô­´´ Meals on Wheels (https://pacbolt.com/holiday-lights/). Lights are on sunset to midnight. There's a mail box for letters to Santa and a radio station to listen to onsite.

• Brookswood Light Show: 3624 197 St. has a unique musical light show with over 12,000 synchronized lights programmed to music. On every day from 4:30 to 10 p.m. until Jan. 12. Tune to 88.3 FM. Cash donations accepted for the 91Ô­´´ Food Bank.

• Penguins Celebrating the JOY of Christmas: 6474 197 St. has a display on until Dec 30. Viewing is between 4:30 and 11:30 p.m. (but can be viewed in daylight). The penguins are back and they brought some more friends this year to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. (Video: )

• Warrens: 20294 50 Ave. will have visits from Santa and the Grinch Dec 13, 14, 18, 20, and 21 (6 to 9 p.m.). Family is collecting donations for the 91Ô­´´ Food Ban (non-perishable food and cash.

• Santa Claus Lane: 209A Street and 84th Avenue area has multiple neighbours working together to create a holiday experience.

The 91Ô­´´ Advance Times will once again be publishing its list of noteworthy light displays as well as an interactive map.

Send in your details or tell about a neighbour’s display including the address, what day the display starts and what day is ends, the hours of operation, and any special facets such as music or walk-through opportunities. Be sure to give the display a fun name. We want to know about the charity displays and even the fun neighbour rivalries.
