VIDEO: Roadside prohibition for driver outside Rosedale pharmacy

No injuries but impaired investigation underway after early-morning crash, Chilliwack RCMP say

An impaired driving investigation is underway after a crash in a parking lot outside a Rosedale pharmacy early Wednesday (Feb.5), RCMP said.

"Early this morning, at approximately 2:23 a.m. the Chilliwack RCMP received a report of a vehicle that had crashed into items in the parking lot of the Modern Pharmacy in Rosedale," reported Cpl. Carmen Kiener, spokesperson for Chilliwack RCMP.

There was significant damage to the vehicle and items the driver hit in the parking lot.

The vehicle came to rest on its side on a bollard, with a rear window smashed, outside the business.

"The driver was located and issued an immediate roadside prohibition as a result of an impaired driving investigation," Kiener said.

"Thankfully no one was hurt in this incident."
