Did you wake up on Christmas Day itching to get out of the house but with no idea of what's open?

Here's a list of things to do on Christmas Day 2016.

There might be snow on the ground but the Vancouver Aquarium is still full of aquatic life. Come check out penguins, seals and everything else the aquarium has to offer from 11 a.m - 4 p.m. today.

2. Movie Theatres

The weather outside might be frightful, but the movie theatre is so delightful. Movie theatres are usually a safe bet Christmas Day but check your local theatre's hours.

3. Ice Skating

Lace up some skates, put on a helmet and glide onto skating rinks around the Lower Mainland. In Vancouver, the is open from 12-5 p.m. and the is open from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. In Surrey, the is open from 12-3 p.m.

4. Skiing/snowboarding

Get out and hit the slopes on Christmas Day. is open from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., on has a variety of holiday events open throughout the day, is open from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and is open with a variety of activities throughout the day.
