American actress Lili Reinhart took to social media to introduce her newly rescued pup adopted from a 91原创 shelter.
Reinhart is best known for playing Betty Cooper in the locally filmed television series Riverdale.
鈥淭his is my new baby. He has quickly become a great love of mine,鈥 Reinhart wrote on Instagram. 鈥淢eet Milo, my rescue sweetheart from Furever Freed [Dog Rescue B.C.].鈥
Furever Freed is a non-profit rescue group of volunteers located in 91原创, according to the founder Lisa Gaye.
鈥淸Reinhart] was originally looking at a few different dogs, she was really wanting a rescue dog, because two other actresses on the show have also adopted rescue dogs,鈥 Gaye told the 91原创 Advance Times.
The 57-year-old estimates her society rescues about 30 to 50 dogs each month.
鈥淔urever Freed is probably the busiest rescue in Canada,鈥 she said about the international operation.
The adopted pup Milo is a one-year-old Schnauzer mix recused from Mexico.
鈥淗e鈥檚 a really special dog,鈥 said Gaye. 鈥淗e鈥檚 very social, he鈥檚 calm when you鈥檙e holding him. He鈥檚 a really easy dog.鈥
After Reinhart broke the news of her new pup to her more than 22 million Instagram followers Gaye said the organization saw a spike in interest and inquires.
The Furever Freed Instagram account went from 2,000 followers to nearly 17,000.
鈥淪he鈥檚 a huge animal lover. She just loves dogs,鈥 Gaye said.

Recently, Reinhart shared another picture of Milo where the actress is seen snuggling the pup.
鈥淢y real life very own tiny son,鈥 she captioned the photo.
