Darren Whitehouse finished sixth, but more importantly, Whitehouse and his Fraser Valley Cascades teammates placed first overall.
The team was competing at the Dunes in Kamloops over the weekend at the first PACWest regular season golf tournament.
Whitehouse shot a two-day total of 145 while the Cascades took the team title by six strokes over Camosun College, with a combined 574.
Altogether, 47 golfers on eight teams took part in the tournament.
