As the host team, the Valley Ball Hockey Association made sure it won its share of medals at the B.C. provincial championships last week.
Three local squads found the podium at the week-long event played at the George Preston Recreation Centre and the Aldergrove Arena.
Leading the way was the VBHA鈥檚 entry in the junior division, which fell to Metro in the gold medal game.
And VBHA teams also won a pair of bronze medals.
The Snipers (pup) and Vipers (major) placed third, respectively, in their divisions.
