The road to the national championships will go through 91原创 this weekend.
A pair of victories 鈥� which extended the Trinity Western Spartans women's soccer team's unbeaten streak to 13 games 鈥� clinched top spot in the Canada West conference.
It also means the Spartans will host this weekend's Canada West final four championships at Rogers Park.
The top two teams advance to the Canadian Interuniversity Sport national championships, which will be held at Montreal's McGill University.
Trinity Western was in Alberta over the weekend for a pair of games, a 2-0 victory over the Lethbridge Pronghorns on Saturday, and then a 2-1 come-from-behind win over Calgary on Sunday.
Tessa Miller scored for the Dinos in the third minute, but Nikki Wright tied the game in the 20th minute and Colleen Webber struck for the winner 10 minutes later.
Alexi Foster set up the first marker, while the second came off a corner kick pass from Jennifer Castillo.
"I'm pleased that we won as it is a testament to our players on how hard they have worked this season," said coach Graham Roxburgh.
"After we gave up the early goal, we raised our intensity and increased our possession as the first half wore on and we just kept chipping away."
The Spartans (12-1-1, 37 points) have not lost since the season's opening day.
They edged UBC (11-1-2, 35 points) for top spot.
"We accomplished a team goal to see if we could win the league and host Canada West," Roxburgh said.
Against Lethbridge, Natalie Boyd scored in the 55th minute while Caitlin Haines added a goal in the 70th.
Both were set up by Melissa Mobilio.
The Canada West final four championships run Friday and Saturday on the TWU campus.
The Spartans face the Victoria Vikes (7-4-3, 24 points) in one semifinal while UBC matches up against the Alberta Pandas (9-4-1,28 points) in the other.
