The Trinity Western Spartans men鈥檚 soccer team was not as fortunate in their Keg Cup games.
The team was up 1-0 but surrendered four goals in a 14-minute span early in the second half in a 4-1 loss to the UBC Thunderbirds.
Andre Costa had the Trinity Western goal.
鈥淲e let it get away from us in a hurry and couldn鈥檛 recover,鈥 said TWU coach Pat Rohla. 鈥淭he overall performance was poor from many of our players and we鈥檙e still struggling to find ways to win on the road.鈥
And in the third-place game, the Spartans fell behind 2-0 to Victoria in a 2-1 loss.
Daniel Lowen had the team鈥檚 lone goal.
The team hosts Seattle Pacific tomorrow (Saturday) at 1p.m. in their final spring game.
