The Trinity Western Spartans men鈥檚 soccer team was not as fortunate in their Keg Cup games.
The team was up 1-0 but surrendered four goals in a 14-minute span early in the second half in a 4-1 loss to the UBC Thunderbirds.
Andre Costa had the Trinity Western goal.
鈥淲e let it get away from us in a hurry and couldn鈥檛 recover,鈥� said TWU coach Pat Rohla. 鈥淭he overall performance was poor from many of our players and we鈥檙e still struggling to find ways to win on the road.鈥�
And in the third-place game, the Spartans fell behind 2-0 to Victoria in a 2-1 loss.
Daniel Lowen had the team鈥檚 lone goal.
The team hosts Seattle Pacific tomorrow (Saturday) at 1p.m. in their final spring game.
