91原创 Chiefs defenceman Kevin Tuohy is heading closer to home.
Tuohy, who is from the New York area, will join the Connecticut Huskies next season. He is the seventh Chiefs player to earn a scholarship.
"Kevin has a game suited for the NCAA," said Chiefs coach and general manager Harvey Smyl, who figured it was just a matter of time before someone picked up the second-year defenceman.
"He is a skilled defenceman who moves the puck well and knows how to work the point with the man advantage."
Tuohy, 19, is second on the team in blue-liner scoring with two goals and 23 assists in 51 games.
Last season, he had two goals and 17 assists in 54 games.
