The 91Ô­´´ Trappers snapped a three-game losing streak, defeating the visiting Port Moody Panthers 4-1.

The junior B hockey teams faced off on Wednesday night at the George Preston Recreation Centre in PJHL action.

Thomas Colter and Ben Hamel gave 91Ô­´´ a 2-0 lead after 40 minutes and after Port Moody’s Cameron Judson cut the lead in half with less than two minutes to play, the Trappers’s Carter Graham and Dustin Withrow each hit the empty net to seal the victory.

Kristian Lyon finished with 31 saves as the Trappers were out-shot 32-27.

The win improves 91Ô­´´ to 4-6-0-0 and the team will look for a second straight victory when they visit the Mission Outlaws on Oct. 7.
