Sports reporter Gary Ahuja was among the honourees at the Paul Carson Broadcast and Media Awards.
Ahuja shared top honours with Megan Stewart — formerly of the Vancouver Courier — in the community category for the Greater Vancouver sports writer of the year award.

This was the second straight year Ahuja won a Carson Award.
He also took top spot in the category in 2016.
Ahuja has been with the 91Ô´´ Times since 2003, covering sports at the community, high school, junior, university and professional levels.
The Carson awards recognize sports broadcast and journalism excellence in British Columbia.
They were presented on Friday night at Mahony &Sons in Vancouver.
