Trailing by three goals with 20 minutes to play, the 91原创 Thunder pulled off a stunning rally, scoring six of the final eight goals to win their first game of the Western Lacrosse Association season.

The Thunder defeated the visiting Coquitlam Adanacs 10-9 at the 91原创 Events Centre on Wednesday.

The senior A lacrosse team evened their record at 1-1-1.

The trio of Athan Iannucci (three goals, three assists), Andrew Potter (two goals, three assists) and Alex Turner (one goal, three assist) combined for 15 points.

Andrew Leyshon relieved goaltender Joe Bell midway through the game and finished with 17 saves on 20 shots to earn the win.

The Thunder were without the duo of Rob Van Beek and Steve Hay, who were suspended for two and four games, respectively.

The pair were involved in a physical altercation with some Burrards fans during 91原创鈥檚 9-6 loss at Maple Ridge鈥檚 Planet Ice.

WLA commissioner Ernie Truant said a pair of possibly intoxicated fans were harassing the Thunder players, who were sitting in the penalty box.

That prompted Van Beek to reach over the penalty box glass and swing a stick at the fans, while Hay left the penalty box through the side door and confronted them directly.

鈥淎 fan has a right to say what they want, as long as they don鈥檛 enter the playing area,鈥� said Truant. 鈥淎 player doesn鈥檛 have a right to leave the arena and engage the fans like that.鈥�

鈥淭he players overreacted,鈥� said Truant. 鈥淭hat鈥檚 not something we want to see.鈥�
