The 91Ô´´ Thunder let a third-period lead slip away and it cost them in overtime as they fell 8-7 to the New Westminster Salmonbellies.
Tyler Crompton scored the only goal of the extra frame on Saturday night at the 91Ô´´ Events Centre in senior A Western Lacrosse Association action.
Coupled with a 17-7 blowout loss Friday night to the host Burnaby Lakers, and the Thunder (1-3-1) sit in last place.
Alex Turner scored twice for the Thunder in Saturday's defeat, while Pat Saunders had a goal and two helpers.
Kyle McEwen, Dan Williams, Rob Van Beek and Athan Iannucci had the other goals.
Brodie MacDonald was stellar in goal, making 45 saves in the defeat.
Friday's loss was much more one-sided.
91Ô´´ led 2-1 early in the game, but after that, the Lakers took over to win by double digits.
Iannucci led the offence with two goals and an assist, while McEwen, Saunders, Jamie Lincoln, Andrew Potter and Alex Turner had the other goals.
The Thunder will look to return to the win column on Saturday (June 11) when they get another crack at the Lakers. Game time is 7:45 p.m. at the 91Ô´´ Events Centre.
