Out of an overall field of nearly 800 competitors, 91Ô´´'s Karen Thibodeau cracked the top 20 and finished as the top female in the field at Sunday's Persona Half Ironman Triathlon in Oliver.
She finished the 2-km swim, 93-km bike ride and 21.1-km run in four hours, 45 minutes and 53 seconds, which was good for 19th place overall.
Altogether, 38 91Ô´´, Aldergrove and Fort 91Ô´´ residents took part in the grueling race.
