Swim club dominates Dolphin meet

It was an impressive all-around showing by the 91原创 Olympians Swim Club, as its members raced to medals galore, meet records, club records and some individual accolades.

Hillary Metcalfe and Justin Schramm each won a high point award for their cumulative scores at the Canadian Dolphin Swim Club鈥檚 New Year鈥檚 Invitational Meet last weekend at the Vancouver Aquatic Centre.

Metcalfe won eight gold medals, set five meet records and one club record.

Schramm swam his way to five golds and set two meet and two club records along the way.

Michael MacDonald was also impressive, netting eight gold medals.

Robyn Nakano won two gold and a silver.

Martha Metcalfe won five gold, a silver and a bronze.

Kate Thompson won a gold, four silver and a bronze.

Ryan Moloney won a silver and two bronze.

Trevor Voisey won a silver and a bronze.

Emily d鈥橢ntremont won a bronze.

Renae Ledoux won two bronze.

Gabriella Szalkai won a silver.

Meredith Clark won a bronze.

And Mackenize Dong and Lisa Grier met the qualifying times for the provincial AAA championships.

Dong, Board, d鈥橢ntremont, Douglas and Schramm also finished with personal bests in each of their respective races.
