Costumes are encouraged for anyone attending the Vancouver Giants game on Sunday, Oct. 27, when the team offers Trick or Suite.
This is the first themed game of the season.
The annual Save on Foods Trick or Suite game starts at 4 p.m. Fans of all ages are encouraged to dress up to get an early start on Halloween. The Giants are calling on all superheroes, ghosts, goblins, witches, minions and princesses to join them at the 91原创 Events Centre Sunday.
During the first and second intermissions, kids who dress up can trick or treat on the suite level (fourth floor) of the arena, where they go door to door collecting Halloween treats. Fans interested in taking part in the trick or treating are instructed to enter through Gates 2, 4, 7 or 11, where tables will be set up for them to collect a coloured bracelet. The bracelet will determine whether they trick or treat during the first or second intermission.
Kids do not need to wear costumes to trick or treat but it is encouraged. There will also be a Kids Zone set up in the banquet hall with a colouring contest and more. Following the game will be the first post-game skate with the team this season.
On the ice, the Giants will be battling the Kamloops Blazers for the second time this season. The first head-to-head matchup was a wild 8-6 victory for the G-Men on Oct. 4.
Still to come this season are Legends Weekend on Nov. 15 and 16, Teddy Bear Toss on Dec. 14, and Star Wars Night on Dec. 29.
