Paddlers wanted
Did you ever wonder if you could be a dragon boat paddler? Well, here is your chance to find out.
The Fort 91Ô´´ Canoe Club’s team Titanium Masters are looking for fit women who will turn 69 in 2025 to join the team to compete at the Canadian National Championships being held in Montreal, Aug 20-24, 2025.
No paddling experience is necessary but you do need to be fit, willing to train hard and be open to learning more about the sport.

Bitar to play for Lebanon
Vancouver FC forward Gabriel Bitar is answering the call for the Lebanese National Team again.
Bitar will be spending more than two weeks with the team, joining the squad in Qatar, the country where the native of Ottawa, Ont., made his first international appearance in 2024 at the Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) Asian Cup.
Cantave to represent Haiti
VFC forward Mikaël Cantave is heading to Puerto Rico with the Haitian Men’s National team for the final two Group Stage matches of the 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League (CNL).
Cantave’s most recent call up for Haiti came for the second round of Group Stage matches in October.
