For the second time in three years, Trinity Western alumni Nikki Cornwall will represent Canada at the Summer Universiade.
The former women’s volleyball player has been named to Canada’s squad for the world university competition in Taipei, Taiwan.
It runs Aug. 19 to 29.
Cornwall has been training with Canada’s senior women’s volleyball team throughout the summer.
Cornwall is one of four Spartans competing in Taipei.
She joins Regan Yee and former TWU athletes James Linde and Nathan George.
The trio are competing in track and field.
