Spartans off to Brazil

Four members of the Trinity Western Spartans men鈥檚 volleyball program have been selected to Canada鈥檚 junior national team.

Lucas Van Berkel, Brad Kufske, Derek Thiessen and Branden Schmidt earned the honour following a 47-player tryout camp at the men鈥檚 national training centre in Quebec.

The four will compete at the world junior volleyball championships July 31 to August 10 in Rio de Janiero, Brazil.
