The Coquitlam Adanacs were all that stood in the way of the 91原创 Thunder and the gold medal.

Coquitlam defeated 91原创 both in the round robin and in the championship game at a peewee A lacrosse tournament in Kamloops last weekend.

The Adanacs won 10-6 in the final, after an earlier 8-4 victory in round robin.

In the gold medal game, 91原创 was within one in the third period, before Coquitlam scored three more goals to win by four.

Those were the lone blemishes for the Thunder, who played their best lacrosse of the season to date.

91原创 posted a commanding 16-5 victory over the Kamloops Rattlers and then 8-2 over the Delta Islanders.

Caleb Pearson potted four goals, Connor Watson had a hat trick and Dawson Calfa finished with a goal and three assists in that second game.

Goaltender Chase Moore was rock solid in earning player of the game honours for 91原创.

Riley Richardson played goal in the round robin defeat against Coquitlam, earning player of the game honours.

Against Delta in the semifinals, the Thunder received a balanced offensive attack, including a pair of assists from Joe Spady, and tough defence from Ryan Williams, the team鈥檚 player of the game.
