One of Scotland鈥檚 best sprinters is joining the Trinity Western Spartans track and field team.
Calum Innes, a 20-year-old from Glasgow, has committed to joining the Spartans next season.
The signing is great news for the second-year program.
鈥淚n our early days, we have already secured the kind of cornerstone athlete that every university needs,鈥� said coach Laurier Primeau.
鈥淣ot only does Calum have tremendous versatility on the field of play, but he also has the potential to add to the leadership of this team.鈥�
Innes specializes in sprinting and hurdles, but he could also represent Trinity Western in the long jump and relays. He has already represented Scotland on the international stage.
