The Mainland Misfits Roller Derby Association is holding a fundraiser on Saturday for an injured teammate.
A member of the Doomsday Bunnies was badly injured during a fire in January, and while now stabilized, she is expected to remain in hospital for a few more months.
Her teammates are holding the fundraiser at the Alice MacKay Building (6050 176 St.) in Cloverdale to help offset the burden of her bills.
The MMRDA Clash of the Titans begins at 6 p.m. with the Anarchy Angels facing the Doomsday Bunnies. The second bout, at 8:30 p.m. is between the men鈥檚 team, the Vancouver Murder, against a co-ed team from around the Lower Mainland.
Doors open at 5 p.m.
