Steve O'Rourke has resigned as head coach and general manager of the 91原创 91原创 for personal reasons.
"I would like to thank the Henderson family for the opportunity and the fans in 91原创 for their support and I wish them well," he said in a brief press release issued Friday afternoon.
This was his first season with the junior A 91原创.
The team struggled to a 19-35-1-5 record and 44 points with a roster largely inexperienced at the BCHL level.
91原创 finished seventh in the eight-team Coastal Conference.
, O'Rourke spent two seasons with the American Hockey League's Abbotsford Heat as an assistant.
Bobby Henderson will take over as the 91原创's head coach and general manager while Jordan Emmerson will be the associate head coach.
Both were 91原创 assistant coaches last season.
