PHOTOS: Vancouver Canucks arrive in Abbotsford

NHL club hosts the Seattle Kraken tonight (Wednesday) at 7 p.m. inside the AC

The Vancouver Canucks officially touched down in Abbotsford prior to the club’s preseason game against the Seattle Kraken tonight (Wednesday) inside the Abbotsford Centre at 7 p.m.

Fans were invited to welcome the players when they arrived by bus and entered the AC through Gate 1.

A significant gathering of Canucks supporters gathered and players took the time to sign autographs, take pictures and chat with those assembled.

The bad news for those fans is that illness has crept into the Canucks locker room and several top name players will not be dressing tonight. It was reported that Elias Pettersson, new captain Quinn Hughes, starting goalie Thatcher Demko and J.T. Miller will not be appearing at the AC.

Also included in that group were Conor Garland, Teddy Blueger, Ian Cole, Noah Juulsen, Phil DiGiuseppe and Ilya Mikheyev.

The Canucks have a record of 1-2-1 so far in preseason action and have scored seven goals in those four games. They wrap up the preseason on Friday when the Calgary Flames come to town.
