About the only thing slowing 91Ô´´'s The Other Team right now is the rain.

With this spring's poor weather postponing several games, the junior women's fastpitch team is still off to an 11-0 start.

The two most recent wins came on Sunday (June 5) when they swept a doubleheader in Maple Ridge against The Gnomes.

The Other Team won the opener 14-7 and then needed extra innings and a walk-off grand slam to win 12-8 and complete the sweep.

In the opener, Jessica Hemphill was solid on the mound, while the entire line-up reached base safely.

Casey Openshaw led the offence with a triple, whole Emma Rogers and Randi Haberstock were key defensively.

In game two, 91Ô´´ had to rally to force extra innings, but won in dramatic fashion thanks to a grand slam from Haberstock.

Danielle White, Katie Stene and Hemphill took care of the pitching, while Chubey, White and Openshaw had key hits.
