Shooting Eagles 30 Black Fish 13

It was a record setting day for the Shooting Eagles.

The Shooting Eagles found the back of the net 30 times 鈥 bettering the previous mark of 29 鈥 as they hammered the Black Fish 30-13 on Sunday afternoon at 91原创 Events Centre in Arena Lacrosse League West Division action.

鈥淪coring 30 is nice, new little stamp on the resume for the boys,鈥 admitted Mark Yingling, following his four-goal, eight-point performance.

Five players scored three or more goals, led by Dylan Lacroix鈥檚 sock-trick while both Lacroix and Keegan Kozack (2-8) had 10-point games.

鈥淏eing able to give the ball to anyone on the floor on O is a real advantage,鈥 Yingling said. 鈥(But) it is an unreal feeling knowing anyone on your team can score.鈥

Another big factor in the outcome was the Shooting Eagles power play which struck for six goals and is now operating at 77 percent efficiency on the season.
