Twenty-seven swimmers combined to bring home 64 medals for the .

The club was competing at the 15th annual Wavemaker Invitational in Victoria from April 28 to 30.

And in addition to the medal haul, several LOSC members had great individual accomplishments.

Selina Schmelcher, 12, achieved her first Canadian western championships qualifying time and her first Canadian junior championship qualifying time in the women鈥檚 200m butterfly with a time of 2:37.15.

Eleven-year-old Tyler Friesen had a breakout meet, qualifying to compete at the 2017 B.C. AA long course championships in six events (50, 100, 200 and 400 freestyle, 200 backstroke and 200 IM).

And Isobel McNeill, 10, blasted through three of her existing girls 10 and under club records, setting new marks in the 100 backstroke (1:18.62), 200 backstroke (2:47.69) and 200 backstroke (2:47.69). She also set a new club record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:50.52, besting a mark which had stood since 2009.
