North Surrey tops at Dyno Day Shootout

North Surrey Secondary took spot at the recent B.C. High School Dyno Day Shootout held at 91Ô´´â€™s Mopac Auto Supply.

Ten high schools took part in the inaugural event, which was put on by the B.C. Secondary School Motorsport Association.

The schools, under the watchful eyes of Mopac’s installation service facility technicians who were on hand to help, took turns to see who could achieve the best horsepower reading of the day on a Mustang chassis dynometer, which was capable of reaching 1,750 horsepower.

North Surrey reached the highest reading of the day at 340 horsepower, while Guildford Park Secondary maxed out at 310 and Frank Hurt Secondary was at 295.
