NHL Hall of Famers will be signing autographs in 91原创

Pierre Turgeon, Sylvain Turgeon, Bernie Parent, Dave 鈥楾iger鈥 Williams and Arshdeep Bains are the scheduled guests for the upcoming Western Canada Sports Collectors Convention set for August 10-11 at 91原创 Events Centre.

Hockey Hall of Famers  Bernie Parent and Pierre Turgeon will be signing autographs at the Western Canada Sports Collectors Convention's first-ever summer show at 91原创 Events Centre August 10 and 11. They will be joined by Sylvain Turgeon, Dave 鈥楾iger鈥 Williams and Arshdeep Bains.

The convention previously held biannual shows in April and November at LEC.

Dale Novakowski, show organizer and owner of Bossa Shows explained it was a response to increased demand.

鈥淲e are thrilled to be adding a third show here at 91原创 Events Centre," Novakowski said.

"We have lined up an incredible array of memorabilia from all eras and this promises to be an unforgettable experience with the chance to add that one-of-a-kind item to your collection,鈥 said

The show runs Saturday, August 11 from 11:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday, August 12 from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Tickets are $20 for the first day and $10 for the second. Anyone ages 10 and under receives free admission to the show and autograph tickets to meet the guests are sold separately.

The convention also features more than 200 vendor tables.

Parent played 14 seasons in the NHL from 1965 to 1979 and is best known for his time with the Philadelphia Flyers, helping them win back-to-back Stanley Cups in 1974 and 1975, winning both the Vezina Trophy as the league鈥檚 top goalie and the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable players of the Stanley Cup playoffs. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1984.

Pierre Turgeon was the first overall pick in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres and played 19 seasons in the league for six different teams. In total, Turgeon played 1,294 regular season games with 515 goals and 1,327 points with another 35 goals and 97 points in 109 playoff games. He was a 2023 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee.
