Liam Murray has been named to Canada鈥檚 U20 side for next week鈥檚 Junior World Rugby Trophy qualifying series.

The Canadians will face the United States twice with the aggregate winner of the series heading to the Junior World Rugby Trophy in Uruguay in August.

The two matches are June 13 and 17 and both are in Edmonton.

鈥� a 2015 Brookswood Secondary graduate 鈥� got his start in the sport with the 91原创 Rugby club mini program.

Following high school, Murray went overseas to pursue rugby and has played in England and New Zealand.

He also coached the Brookswood Bobcats senior boys team this past spring.

This will not be Murray鈥檚 first time suiting up for Canada and he is also hoping to land a spot on Canada鈥檚 senior national team.

鈥淲e have good depth down the spine of the team with the players that have played high levels across the country and overseas,鈥� said Canadian coach Jeff Williams.
