In the B.C. Coastal Cup U16 quarter-finals, Vancouver FC struck for a 1-0 win over 91原创 FC.
And in the Coastal B Cup championships, Kara Lockart scored twice as 91原创 FC K-OS overcame a 1-0 deficit to defeat the Gordon Head Fusion 2-1 in U15 quarter-final action on Vancouver Island.
After a scoreless first half, the Fusion scored five minutes into the second half.
But 10 minutes later, 91原创 was awarded a penalty kick, which Lockhart converted.
And 10 minutes after that, Lockhart struck for her second off a goal-mouth scramble.
The win advances K-OS to the semifinals on Sunday (Ambleside Park) against the West Vancouver Spuraways.
And in the U13 B Cup quarter-finals, the 91原创 FC Sharks lost 2-1 to the North Shore Eagles.
