91Ô´´ golfer Jackson Wang, 13, added another victory to his resume with rounds of 71 and 69 in the MJT Bantam Boys Division at Morgan Creek golf course in Surrey for the Junior Worlds Qualifier.
Wang came into the event with momentum after a second-place finish at the MJT FCG World Golf Championship Qualifier at Northview and a division title at the MJT adidas Golf Series at University Golf Club.
With 10 birdies over the weekend and two sub-par rounds, Wang secured a two-stroke victory.
Another 91Ô´´ golfer, Esther Cheon, 15, finished second in Girls 15-19.
The qualifier saw 112 players tee it up at Morgan Creek Golf Course in Surrey April 5–6.
The field was treated to mostly sunny skies on day one, followed by a dramatic shift to heavy rain on day two, adding an extra layer of challenge to the final round.
In addition to vying for division titles, players were competing for the chance to qualify for several major events, including the MJT East Coast Junior Championship, Junior America's Cup – Team BC, MJT National Tour Challenge, and the international Uswing Mojing Junior World Golf Championship.
