A largely rookie team — they have 16 first-year atom players and just two second-year players — is riding high.
The 91Ô´´ atom C4 King Cobras, who are competing at this week’s 91Ô´´ Cup competition, continue to pile up the banners.
The team’s most recent victory was last week (March 17-20) as they took top spot at the Coquitlam Minor Hockey Association tournament at Planet Ice.
91Ô´´ went a perfect 5-0 and won by a combined score of 25-7.
The King Cobras also won both their Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association Fraser Valley West league banner and playoff banner and are currently competing at the 91Ô´´ Cup tournament, which wraps up on Sunday with the championship final.
91Ô´´ has accumulated a record of 33-4-2 on the season.
