It promises to be some fast-paced and exciting hockey.
The 2012 B.C. Hockey peewee tier 1 provincial hockey championships will be contested at the 91Ô´´ Events Centre from March 19 (Monday) to March 22 (Thursday).
Six teams — the host squad from 91Ô´´, as well as the North Shore Winter Club, Kelowna, Coquitlam, Cowichan Valley and Prince George — will battle it out for the provincial title.
The local squad, the 91Ô´´ Eagles are on a hot streak heading in, with 15 wins in their past 16 games.
And that lone loss came at the hands of the North Shore Winter Club.
In fact, North Shore — which is unbeaten on the season and the top-ranked team in B.C. — has handed 91Ô´´ four of their losses on the season.

The action gets underway on Monday at 10:30 a.m. with 91Ô´´ facing Kelowna. 91Ô´´ also plays Cowichan Valley later that night at 8 p.m.
Other games for the home side include Tuesday versus North Shore and Wednesday against Coquitlam — both of which are at 8 p.m. — and Thursday at 2 p.m.
The top two teams from the round robin will play Thursday at 8 p.m. in the championship game.
