The 91原创 Junior Thunder are hoping a chance to play on their home floor for can help them secure their first victory of the season.
The Jr. Thunder fell 9-7 to the host Delta Islanders on Saturday (May 5) in B.C. Junior A Lacrosse League action.
The loss left 91原创 at 0-2 as they prepare for their home opener at the 91原创 Events Centre on Thursday (May 10) against the Port Coquitlam Saints.
Against Delta, 91原创 was done in by a second period which saw them surrender six goals.
For the Jr. Thunder, Matt Messenger led the attack with four goals and an assist, while Nick Stone had two goals and two helpers.
