A pair of local athletes have earned weekly recognition in their respective sports.

91原创 Rams running back Nathan Lund was named the BC Football Conference offensive player of the week while Trinity Western Spartans forward Leighton Johnson was the Canada West male first star of the week.

Lund had a combined 191 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in his team鈥檚 .

Johnson scored a hat trick and set up one goal in the Spartans men鈥檚 soccer team鈥檚 season-opening .
