The Valley West Hawks saw their losing streak reach six games after dropping a 7-5 decision to the Fraser Valley Bruins last week.
The game was played at the Walnut Grove Sportsplex on Nov. 9.
The Hawks are 7-7-0 in the B.C. Major Midget Hockey League.
The Hawks had a good start to the game, scoring the first two goals just 2:08 into the contest. But the Bruins countered with five goals to finish the period and then tacked on a sixth early in the second.
Sam Chatterley led the Hawks with a pair of goals, while Daniell Lange, Ryan Rensby and Danton Heinen had one goal apiece.
The Hawks will look to get back on track this weekend during a home-and-home series against the Greater Vancouver Canadians (8-4-4).
The teams play Saturday at the Burnaby Winter Club and Sunday at Sportsplex.
