Dozen from 91原创 off to Montreal

Nine athletes and four coaches from 91原创鈥檚 two gymnastics clubs part of Team BC

Eight athletes and four coaches from 91原创 are off to Montreal, where they will represent B.C. at the Canadian gymnastics championships.

The championships run May 23 to 28.

Seven of the athletes and three of the coaches are from 91原创 Gymnastics Foundation, while one athlete and one coach are from Walnut Grove鈥檚 Flip City Gymnastics Club.

Brooke Biggin will compete in the junior Olympics (JO) level 9 while Cathy Zhong is in JO 10 and Paula Urquidi is competing in the JO 10 2001+ level.

Emilie Hong (LGF) was scheduled to compete in the JO 10 level but an ankle injury will prevent her from competing.

Kennedy Duke and Flip City鈥檚 Makenna Guidish are in the high performance (HP) novice level.

LGF鈥檚 Dumitru Avarvarei, Lidumila Lobaznyuk and Flip City鈥檚 Alana Jensen are attending as coaches for Team BC鈥檚 women鈥檚 artistic team.

And on the men鈥檚 artistic portion of the competition, Tyler Welch, Victor Blaine and Brandon MacDonald are competing in the national open division. Kris Krunick is one of the men鈥檚 coaches.
